We’ve added a new automated strategy to the FrostMist lineup: PPO Crossover, based on the Percentage Price Oscillator (PPO).
PPO is a momentum indicator that measures the relationship between two moving averages in percentage terms. Unlike indicators based on absolute price differences, its normalized approach makes it well suited for working across instruments with different price levels.
FrostMist PPO Crossover combines this established momentum signal with the FrostMist automation framework, providing a complete strategy for systematic backtesting, optimization, and live trading in NinjaTrader.

We have added Directional Movement Trend Following strategy to the FrostMist strategy lineup.
The new strategy uses NinjaTrader’s Directional Movement (DM) indicator to identify established trends with ADX and determine trade direction through +DI and -DI crossovers. It includes configurable DM settings together with the standard FrostMist risk management, scheduling, and order management features.
A new FrostMist strategy is now available: Ichimoku Cloud Tenkan Kijun Crossover.
The strategy automates the classic Ichimoku Tenkan-sen/Kijun-sen crossover signal, generating long and short entries as the faster Tenkan line crosses the slower Kijun line. Ichimoku periods and displacement settings are fully configurable, making it easy to test the approach across different markets and timeframes.
