Overview

Aroon Crossover is a trend-following strategy built around the classic Aroon indicator.

It is designed to identify possible trend changes by comparing the Aroon Up and Aroon Down lines. Because the indicator measures how recently price made a high or a low within the selected lookback period, it is well suited for traders who want a crossover model focused on trend direction rather than overbought or oversold extremes.

Signal Logic

The strategy monitors the crossover between the Aroon Up and Aroon Down lines.

A buy signal appears when Aroon Up crosses above Aroon Down.
A sell signal appears when Aroon Up crosses down Aroon Down..

This creates a trend-following model based on which side of the market is showing more recent strength, rather than on fixed moving average lengths.

Common Features

Each strategy has its own signal logic, but installation, setup, and trade management are identical across the product line. Once you know how to use one, you know how to use the rest.
